Lucille, how you tease me so. d(^_^)b
THE VASCO ERA. Enough said.
The pasta turned out fantastic. The sauce especially brought this fresh taste to it. I'm told that it was amazing.
And I made the treacle toffee today. It turned out much better than when I'd practiced it at home. I did end up spilling treacle on the bench, but a little puddle is okay compared to a blackened stovetop at home that required much scrubbing since I hadn't used a big enough pot. (which I learnt from and got this huge one today. Still bubbled really huge but didn't overflow, thank goodness.)
This toffee is enough to glue your mouth shut for a while.
As my friend Jewels learnt the hard way.
I still have to wrap the squares up into little packs of wonderful for the gift bags.
Worked on my media music video. Bridezilla's Queen of Hearts.
I shall leave you some lyrics from Oh Sam, a Vasco Era track.
I wanna find a soul in a land that's died,
A soul in a land that's turning round
Wasting time . . .
Can't look them in the eye
As I'm walking home
To you
Cause they know what I have done
What I have done
First two lines are a nice metaphor for life, yes?

It's been the most random week.
Life has been nice to me. Very nice indeed.
Jackson Firebird/Oddity/The Vasco Era . . . THE VASCO ERA. My new music crush. OFFICIAL RECOMMENDATION.
"Pure Blood Pasta" for my food tech folio went . . . really nose breaking, blood streaming well.
Then I drained it and used it for my pasta.
. . . kidding.
Food dye. I'm incredibly happy with the colour. Exactly how I wanted it.
After making it I dried it. Preservation and stuff.
I cook it later this week, along with Treacle Toffee.
. . . finally got around to watching A VERY POTTER MUSICAL. Now to watch the sequel. :P
Hope you're living and not dying.

Hello stress. My new enemy.
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me. :P Somewhat cheesy, but hey, it works. So things at school are like "OMG I'M GOING TO DIEEEEEE", and at the same time "I love this moment, right here, right now".
Negatives? Things are slipping. I went a few days without thinking about Castiel until he was brought up in conversation. D:
My room is a mess somehow. I don't remember how things got so messy.
The positives of this new stress (which has
been caused by my HARRY POTTER themed food tech folio, just another example of what I've described above)? Maybe I'll lose some weight. Want to get fitter. So that I'm not ashamedly huffing when I have to run. :P
So I've been snapping at people. Which I never really do purposely. Not that this is on purpose. Oh lordy.
...and I've been fairly mixed up lately. BLAH.
Random-picture-describing-my-emotions time!

Well.
Been having such a good time these holidays, it's almost like I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well, when I haven't been surrounded by friends and internal chatter. Had a stab at some poetry the other day, but it didn't really lead anywhere. Sigh. The next True Blood episode isn't out for a few days, so I've been left to grudgingly do homework and think about bothering Snape.
Life's crazy right now. Or maybe it's all in my head. Not like that hasn't happened before.
Oh, plus, I forgot to say, I'll add the season four title card to my list of favourite Supernatural title sequences.
And let's throw in a random Eric Northman pic.

*crickets*
Well. Haven't blogged in a while. Mainly because there's no crazy catastrophes to report lately. Everything's fine I guess. Until September, no particular reason to Castiel picspam.
Enter True Blood. :D
